Golf at Lost Farm

Rated among Golf Digest’s World Top 50 Courses, Barnbougle’s Lost Farm golf course was crafted by the renowned Coore and Crenshaw design firm, known for their work on other courses in the World Top 100. The course features 20 holes, along with two additional par-3 holes (13A and 18A), bringing the total to six par-3s. While it is regarded as the second-best course at Barnbougle, Lost Farm boasts expansive fairways and undulating links terrain. Nestled between the Forester River and the Bass Strait, the course bears similarities to Ireland’s Castle Rock golf course.

Melbourne Cup Lunch

After our round, we’ll head straight into a relaxed lunch (at own cost) before settling in to watch the Melbourne Cup—the race that stops a nation. This will be a laid-back, social part of the tour, with everyone gathering to enjoy good food, a few drinks, and some easy going banter after the morning on the course.

We’ll have a sweepstake running for a bit of added excitement, so everyone has a horse to cheer on.

Golf at Bougle Run (optional extra)

You're welcome to add an additional round of golf to your trip, giving you the chance to enjoy the stunning natural landscapes while playing the 14 holes course, Bougle Run.

This course is designed to challenge golfers of all skill levels, offering a delightful experience surrounded by beautiful scenery.

The day kicks off an early transfer back to the aircraft, ensuring you are comfortably settled for your journey. You will then embark on a scenic flight to King Island, a journey that takes approximately 45 minutes, offering stunning aerial views of the surrounding seascape.

King Island is anchored in the middle of the Bass Strait between Victoria and Tasmania’s North West coast.

Surrounded by some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches, King Island has two new golf courses in Ocean Dunes and Cape Wickham which are ranked among the best in the world.

King Island is also famous for food exports with a range of produce being sought by the world’s top chefs. Succulent beef, rich gourmet cheese and crayfish plucked from the Island’s crystal clear waters are but three of the delicacies you can enjoy on your visit.

The King Island population is around 1,700 the island is mainly centred around primary production, the majority of which is beef grazing.

King Island is low lying, Mt Stanley is the highest point above sea-level at just 460ft. As you drive out to golf, you'll see potential golf holes everywhere.

NB. Telstra is the only provider with range on King Island.
